TOWN HALL MEETING

May 13, 2025

Nickelaus Engle called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM. Council members in attendance: Nickelaus Engle and Cecilia Gallup. Also in attendance Denise Immel Borough Secretary.

Citizens present:  Amber May, Tammy Myers and Alan Auman

Citizens input:

Nickelaus Engle opened the session with thoughts on Founders Day festivities. Research has indicated the last designated day for Founders Day was July 25. He spoke of Founders Day becoming an annual event beginning with this year, using this year’s event to focus on the historical aspect of Millheim. Other possible events suggested: duck race, resident appreciation, community day and employee appreciation day.

The event would run consecutive with the Route 45 Getaway event sponsored by the Valley Business Alliance, possible collaboration with them.

Additional involvement with Merry Millheim was also discussed.
