BUDGET MEETING

September 16, 2020

Robert Zeigler called the meeting to order at 6:00 A PM. Council members in attendance: Robert Zeigler,

Steve Meyers, Katie Blume and Patty Beckenbaugh Also, in attendance Sherry Corman, Millheim Borough Treasurer/Assistant Secretary and Denise Immel, Millheim Borough Secretary/Assistant Treasurer. Absent Beth Cowher and Lauralee Snyder.

New Action Item:

Robert Zeigler shared the completed employee review forms with council members. Members of council discussed employee salaries based on performance ratings and expectations, taking in to consideration the current inflation rate of approximately 1.5%. Additional pay for overnight snow removal at $5.00 per hour is to continue.

Council held discussion on the line of items for the 2021 General Budget. At the best interest of the Borough it was agreed to have the utilities remain the same and do any adjustments on the 2022 budget. This will give a full year to reflect solar usage and Atlantic Broadband usage.

A motion was made by Katie Blume to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Steve Myers. Motion carried.
